A Journey of Life Through Photographs
I hope I don't become the sole writer on a group blog. It's just to instigate others to come and join me. This afternoon I created an album at Picasa for the group and uploaded a few photographs, sourcing a few of them from a previous chain mail that floated '05-'06. Serkhail, Shubhendu, Tarik, Saba, Braj, Sandeep, Rajesh...
This lovely angel is Serkhail's son Omar. Born on 21 March 06. This photograph was sent to us in one of those chain mails. The happiness was shared. The grown-up boy is Saba's son (I am extremely sorry I forget his name.). We saw his face in the same year in which Serkhail's son was born. Guess the age difference between these two boys! And both fathers studied in the same class.
We take more interest in the clothes that celebrities wear than what's happening in the lives of people whom we have 'closely' known for years. And I know of a few angels who are yet to arrive. I am not telling anything more. But break the news as it happens. That's why it's important we stay connected.

A Journey Called Life
Twenty-five years is a short time. This is what all of us have proved. Neither time nor distance can ever come in the way where true hearts walk hand-in-hand. We still remember the days when our mothers prepared early-morning breakfast for us and stuffed our lunch boxes with food that we cherished to share with each other in the Baby Field. We have not forgotten our fathers who took every care to hide their worries with an assuring smile. Days pass by, but childhood memories remain as fresh as ever. We have grown into different individuals; we think differently; our ‘social status’ in life may not be the same; our expectations from life can vary; but there is one fact that none of us can deny, and that fact is that all of us have grown together. We have wondered about life together. We have tried to find answers together. We have exchanged notes and shared jokes together. We have seen many ups and downs. We have failed. We have succeeded. We have had many joys. We may have many sorrows. Time will change. Our faces will be full of wrinkles. And one day we will walk into the wood from where we will not return. But we will leave our children behind. And they will become friends with each other. This chain of friendship will never break. This world will keep changing, but what will never change is our friendship. This friendship is forever. We will always remain friends, because we are Friends Forever.
