A Journey Called Life

Twenty-five years is a short time. This is what all of us have proved. Neither time nor distance can ever come in the way where true hearts walk hand-in-hand. We still remember the days when our mothers prepared early-morning breakfast for us and stuffed our lunch boxes with food that we cherished to share with each other in the Baby Field. We have not forgotten our fathers who took every care to hide their worries with an assuring smile. Days pass by, but childhood memories remain as fresh as ever. We have grown into different individuals; we think differently; our ‘social status’ in life may not be the same; our expectations from life can vary; but there is one fact that none of us can deny, and that fact is that all of us have grown together. We have wondered about life together. We have tried to find answers together. We have exchanged notes and shared jokes together. We have seen many ups and downs. We have failed. We have succeeded. We have had many joys. We may have many sorrows. Time will change. Our faces will be full of wrinkles. And one day we will walk into the wood from where we will not return. But we will leave our children behind. And they will become friends with each other. This chain of friendship will never break. This world will keep changing, but what will never change is our friendship. This friendship is forever. We will always remain friends, because we are Friends Forever.
